From the 15th till the 18th of June 2006 youth delegates from Veliky Novgorod took part in the 26th International Hanseatic days in Osnabruek, Germany.

Youth program in Osnabruek was interesting and full of different activities, official and cultural. Official events included meeting with municipal authorities, delegates’ meeting, and youth seminar on international education.

Cultural program included concerts, international exhibition «Inspired by Youth», culture nights, excursion flight above the city, sports activities, and visit to the presentational and historical markets.

During the delegates’ meeting new Youth Hansa regulations were accepted. The previous one was created in 2000 in Zwolle, Netherlands, and needed some alterations.

Also during the meeting organizers reported about the results of the First Youth Hansa Music and Art Festival project, in which 2 youth creative groups from Veliky Novgorod had participated.

There was also a video-presentation of the youth Hansa program in Lippstadt in 2007 and presentation of youth Hansa CD – project by delegates from Lubek. The idea of the CD – project was to create a CD with songs of youth music bands from different hanseatic cities (one song from each city).
